• Award seats are subject to availability.
• Please ensure you have sufficient Avios in your account before requesting an award ticket. Should you have insufficient Avios, you can also buy Avios.
• Upon requesting an award ticket, Avios required for the trip will be blocked from your account. If we are unable to process your request, the Avios will be refunded to your account.
• Avios cannot be earned on award flights with oneworld® and other partner airlines.
• In addition to using Avios for your award flight with oneworld® and other partner airlines, you will need to pay for duty and tax surcharges, passenger/carrier service charges, visa costs and any other applicable airport, customs and government-imposed fees/taxes.

• Avios Plus Cash option is valid for award tickets on flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways and flights operated by partner airlines.
• Avios Plus Cash is not available for upgrades.
• Privilege Club reserves the right to change the Avios or cash values at any time.
• Privilege Club members are not eligible to accrue Avios on the cash component of Avios Plus Cash awards.
• Privilege Club reserves the right to withdraw this award option at any time. Tickets purchased under Avios Plus Cash option fall under the same terms and conditions as normal award tickets issued by Privilege Club.

• Baggage allowance and lounge access applies based on the originally booked itinerary. Platinum, Gold and Silver members will get lounge access and extra baggage based on their tier benefits.
• Not all Qatar Airways flights operate First Class/Business Class.
• Upgrades are subject to availability.
• Upgrade is applicable only on flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways and should be issued on Qatar Airways document (ticket number starting with 157).
• Award upgrades to First Class are not available on our A380 services to or from London.
• Cabin upgrades are not available for infants (below 2 years) and children traveling alone.
• A child must be accompanied with an adult (above 16 years) on the same booking to avail cabin upgrades.
• Upon requesting an award upgrade, the required Avios will be blocked from your account and should we be unable to process your request, your Avios will be refunded to your account.
• Economy Promo fare bookings (RBDs - W and G) are not eligible for redemption upgrades.
• Tickets issued under certain promotional fares may not be eligible for an upgrade using Avios/Qcredits. Please check your ticket or contact any Qatar Airways office for details.
• Redemption tickets are not eligible for an upgrade using Avios/Qcredits
• For tickets upgraded to Business or First Class using Avios/Qcredits, members will earn Avios based on original booking class purchased.

What Redemption discount are

Redemption discount are standard Privilege Club award flights offered at a reduced Avios rate on selected Qatar Airways flights, routes and dates. All usual Privilege Club award ticket rules apply unless stated here. 

Eligible flights

Only flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways qualify as Redemption discount. Flights operated by oneworld® or partner airlines are not eligible. Availability is limited and offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis. 

Who can book

All Privilege Club and Student Club main members can book Redemption discount flights. Members may make unlimited bookings, with up to nine passengers per booking. 

Where and how to book

Redemption discount flights are clearly tagged during award searches, shown in the Award Flight Finder and on the dedicated Redemption discount page, and may also be promoted through Qatar Airways communications. 

Bookings must be made while logged in to a Privilege Club account, on qatarairways.com or the Qatar Airways mobile app. 

Cabins and pricing

Redemption discount may be booked in any cabin, subject to availability. The Avios required may vary by membership tier. The reduced Avios rate applies only to flights clearly marked as Redemption discount. All other award flights in the same booking will be charged at standard award rates. 

Paying with Avios

If your Avios balance is insufficient, you may use Avios plus Cash. Flexi Awards do not apply and Avios cannot be earned on Redemption discount flights. 

Taxes, fees and other costs

All taxes, duties, surcharges, facility charges and service fees must be paid in cash at the time of booking. Avios cannot be used for other travel costs, such as visa fees or airport, customs or government imposed charges. 

Changes and cancellations

Bookings including Redemption discount flights may be changed or cancelled up to three hours before departure and fees may apply. If a booking is changed to a flight or date that is not a Redemption discount option, it will be repriced at the standard award Avios level and additional Avios and fees may apply. 

Other conditions

Redemption discount flights cannot be combined with other Avios offers or promotions. Privilege Club terms and conditions and award ticket fare conditions continue to apply.
